Fortnum and Mason is home to 9 restaurants in the UK from Afternoon Tea to Fine Dining - all with their own originality and flair as well as Private Dining and Events – and our customers are the heart of our business.

We are currently looking for an experienced Reservations Coordinator to join the Fortnums Family. This is a key role in ensuring our customers have an enjoyable journey before they dine with us.

Key Accountabilities:
• Respond to telephone enquiries for all restaurants in Fortnum & Mason and all other Fortnum & Mason satellite stores.
• Respond to all email enquiries for central reservations and 45 Jermyn St
• Reconfirming all restaurant bookings/ cancelling any unconfirmed bookings DJTS
• Check the waitlist daily and ensure attention to detail on all booking’s.
• Check the website to ensure the information is up to date
• Update special requirement menus
• Process all feedback – positive and negative
• Provide each restaurant with reservation report and cover count
• Liaising with chefs regarding all dietary requirements
• Process booking requests and cancellations from 3rd party sites – e.g bookatable, Veltra
• Support Team leader with any ad hoc reports/requests

We expect the successful candidate to have the following skills and experience:
• Experience as a Reservations Coordinator within a quality establishment
• Excellent communication skills
• Shows a flexible management style that can develop and inspire
• A driven individual who is passionate about restaurant trends, people and service
• An ability to challenge, build credibility with a wide range of audiences and work with integrity/confidentiality at all times
• Excellent Microsoft office skills
