Our Head Office department is located in the heart of Piccadilly and occupies the 5th & 6th floor of our beautiful flagship store. This central London location, offers so much to explore including restaurants, bars, cultural sites, shopping and more, and only a short walk from the Green Park Tube Station and plenty of bus stops.
Role Purpose:
This role will support with the delivery of the Traceall project. It will involve approving technical specifications on Traceall, adding new suppliers to the database, and ensuring suppliers have uploaded all their products/ specs into the system so that Traceall matches our stock control system product list.
Reports to: Lead Senior Category Technical Manager
Key Role Responsibilities:
• Checking all supplier specifications on Traceall and approving/ rejecting them
• Ensuring suppliers are chased and have input their information for each product into Traceall
• Cross checking StarChef with Traceall to ensure the systems match
• Inputting internal product specifications into Traceall
• Constructing current ‘menu’s’ on Star Chef so allergen information can automatically be generated
Key Performance Indicators:
• Ensuring all existing and new specifications on Traceall are checked and approved
• Ensuring Star Chef products match Traceall
• Ensuring that suppliers have input their relevant allergen information into Traceall
Qualifications:
• Scientific degree or equivalent
• At least 3 years’ experience in a technical area in either retailing or manufacturing
• Specification creation and sign off experience is required
Role Specific Criteria (Experience/ Behaviours & Technical Ability)
• Works well in collaboration with different teams across the business
• Ability to adapt and be agile in fast paced environment
• Excellent level of attention to detail
• Prior knowledge/ experience with Traceall & Star Chef is preferable or any other similar systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Take a lead on management of specification system
• Ability to manage suppliers completing specifications accurately and in a timely manner
