Merchandiser / Supply Planner - Hampers

Our Head Office department is located in the heart of Piccadilly and occupies the 5th & 6th floor of our beautiful flagship store. This central London location, offers so much to explore including restaurants, bars, cultural sites, shopping and more, and only a short walk from the Green Park Tube Station and plenty of bus stops.

Role Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to manage all aspects of Inventory Management and supply chain activity to ensure excellent availability within the Open To Buy and Wastage target Constraints.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Forecasting hamper builds for seasonal & core ranges
  • Working closely with warehouse to build and sign off hamper build timelines and resource for seasonal campaigns and core range sales
  • Maintain and report against KPIs (e.g. stock holding, weeks cover, availability, sales forecast accuracy)
  • Forecast component usage and intake plans for each hamper and communicate this out to relevant departmental Merchandisers in timely manor
  • Overseeing the intake of hamper componentry and highlighting up any risks and providing solutions
  • Reviewing daily/weekly trade and advising on any unpack/rework plans to avoid wastage
  • Reviewing daily/weekly trade and advising on any additional hamper packs to avoid missed sales opportunity
  • Being the lead in Christmas Hamper meetings communicating clearly and confidently the hamper sell through and variance to budget/forecast
  • Providing post season wash up data to advise Buyer with future proposed ranges
  • Develop relationship with key packaging suppliers and oversee yearly buy and intake curve
  • Develop relationships with Suppliers / Depot / Shop Floor / On Line team
  • Complete understanding of top selling lines, and range management (in terms of stock, orders, issues, pricing, promos etc)
  • Order Management – i.e. the orders on the system reflect exactly what stock is due and when
  • Stock queries from the Warehouse resolved within 48 hours
  • Prepare data for regular reviews with buying, shop floor and VM
  • Management of Merchandising Admin Assistant and ensuring they are developing and meeting their KPIs.

We expect the successful candidate to have the following skills and experience:

  • Excellent Microsoft office skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Digitally savvy
  • Candidates should currently be Merchandisers or can demonstrate good progression from Assistant Merchandiser to Merchandising Assistant and ready for the next move
  • They should possess strong analytical skills, highly organised, good communication skills at varying levels, able to multi-task, prioritise accordingly with leadership and coaching as required.
  • Supply chain/procurement experience preferred
