Our Royal Exchange satellite bar & restaurant is located in the heart of Bank. This bustling London location is within walking distance to plenty of bus stops, as well as Bank station. There is plenty to do and explore in this area and just a hop, skip and a jump to the London CBD.

Waiter/Waitress – Royal Exchange

Taking pride of place at the Royal Exchange Courtyard in Bank, the Fortnum’s Restaurant and Bar is one of London’s most Instagrammable restaurants. Serving a luxurious selection of fine caviar and oysters to hand carved smoked salmon with our very own selection of cocktails. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea 5 days a week.

We are currently looking for passionate Waiters/Waitresses to work in our decadent Royal Exchange Restaurant andar and helping our customers have a truly enjoyable experience.

Key Accountabilities:

• Run and maintain the appearance of your station and section to the highest degree
• Adhere to the agreed standards of table lay-up and MEP
• Set all tables in accordance with the standards provided
• Take instruction from the head waiter, anticipate their requirements
• Provide attentive and prompt service
• React and deal with issues, complaints, breakages, and spillages in a manner befitting the restaurant’s ethos
• Create and deliver an extraordinary customer experience, meeting all targets set
• Maintain excellent restaurant standards and cleanliness of fixtures
• Ensure the menus are displayed and accurate
• Ensure grooming standards meet company requirements

We expect the successful candidate to have the following skills and experience:

• Experience within high-end restaurants and bars.
• Demonstrate an authentic and passionate understanding of brand, menus, and restaurant service
• Build strong relationships with customers in order to encourage repeated visits
• Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to think quickly and rationally to ever-changing situations
• Consistently leading by example
